Paul + Rita are such fun loving and happy people & their wedding was a true reflection of this fact. Everything was both tasteful and fun.  The brightly coloured Junkanoo dancers in their lovely beach ceremony. Their bow-tie adorned bloodhound as the ring bearer. Their tented beach reception where a whole roasted pig was served for dinner.  All the way to their epic 'trash the dress' where the couple jumped off of their speedboat into the sparkling clear Bahamian water. My words can't do justice to what wonderful people these two are, so I'll let their video speak for itself.  Enjoy!

This wedding had every ingredient needed to be classified as a dream wedding. Tropical weather, set on a white sandy beach, beautiful flowers, loving family & friends, an amazing bride and groom and a crazy dance party.

It's not easy to make friends with locals when visiting a foreign country. Yet somehow this couple befriended just about everyone they met here in The Bahamas. All while celebrating their marriage with a magnificent wedding. Each of them had huge hearts and were incredibly kind and polite towards every person they interacted with. I'm glad to be able to now call them friends. They are truly remarkable people, but I think their loving family & friends do a far better job of explaining it than I ever could. This lovely couple wanted to do something different for their destination wedding, and they sure managed to pull that off. One of their close friends happened to have a luxury sailing yacht which just happened to be in The Bahamas.
So they got married at sea just off of Rose Island a short sail away from Nassau, Paradise Island & The Atlantis Resort.
They couldn't have been happier or more in love. Their minister even closed their ceremony with an Italian blessing in remembrance of the Groom's mother.

Nassau, Bahamas Family Photographer | Family Fun on the Beach

Looking at some of the photos of this happy family you'd think my job was easy. Although, I really enjoyed this beach session the photos don't always tell the whole back story.

This family was full of smiling faces and cheerful kids.  The hard part was getting them to all smile at the same time.  As every parent knows, two year olds are very inquisitive and very energetic. A combination that does not bode well for group photographs. Now multiply that by two. These two two-year olds loved the beach. If they weren't digging in the sand, they were running full throttle towards the ocean. They had a blast for sure.

Even though I had to run through the sand to catch these kids a few times I still I had alot of fun photographing them.  I really tried to capture some of that energy and curiosity in these images. I hope the photos below convey a little bit of their personalities to you. Enjoy.

I love seeing people in love. Photographing the love of two people on their wedding day is an absolute pleasure. Jon and Katie were no exception. They had gorgeous weather for their special day at Compass Point on the island of New Providence, The Bahamas.
