Bahamas Wedding Video | Paradise Island Extravaganza | Todd + Maria
Bahamas Wedding Video | Paradise Island Extravaganza | Todd + Maria from Frangipani Film on Vimeo.
| Paradise Island, The Bahamas |
Todd + Maria's wedding was one for the record books! 150 of their friends and family made the trip to The Bahamas to celebrate with them.
They kicked off the festivities with live music at Greycliff courtesy of Gianni Russo.
The party continued at Atlantis' Hall of Waters where they danced the night away, surrounded by the worlds largest aquarium.
Their vows were shared in front of the French Cloisters, the centerpiece of the Gardens of Versailles at The Ocean Club on Paradise Island. Finally Jesse's Girls rocked the house in an elaborate air-conditioned tent setup in the garden for their reception.
A spectacular weekend of events all to commemorate the union of this spectacular couple!

Bahamas Wedding Video | Sailboat Excursion | Marco + Tommie
Bahamas Wedding Video | Marco + Tommie | Sailboat Excursion from Frangipani Film
This lovely couple wanted to do something different for their destination wedding, and they sure managed to pull that off. One of their close friends happened to have a luxury sailing yacht which just happened to be in The Bahamas.
So they got married at sea just off of Rose Island a short sail away from Nassau, Paradise Island & The Atlantis Resort.
They couldn't have been happier or more in love. Their minister even closed their ceremony with an Italian blessing in remembrance of the Groom's mother.

Atlantis Family Photographer | Boys are fun!
Two young boys can make a photo session really busy but it can also make it a lot of fun! Playing on the beach with this family was a great way to spend an evening. Everyone ran and played and laughed in the sand and even got a little wet!
Planning the session to be close to sunset was really helpful. We had beautiful, soft evening light to work with.

One and Only Ocean Club, Paradise Island | Wedding at the Cloisters
It's amazing to me how quickly you can become friends with someone and feel like you have know them forever. From the moment I meant this couple at the cruise ship I knew it was going to be a good day. Their personalities were fun and real and their love for each other was beautiful and evident.
I took them to the Cloisters to do portraits and we had planned to continue to the beach for their short wedding ceremony. Upon arriving and seeing how beautiful the Cloisters are they decided it was the perfect location to say their vows. Being from Colorado they have the option to do a self solemnization ceremony which made everything a lot simpler!
I hope I will always remember what it felt like to be the sole witness to their wedding ceremony. Their heartfelt vows with infectious laughter mixed in was epic. I was tearing up behind the camera as I documented everything. Thank you for letting me play a little part in such great event! I am definitely looking you guys up next time I'm in Colorado!

Paradise Island, Bahamas | Rainy Day Honeymoon Portraits
Sometimes a rainy day doesn't ruin everything. Since this young bride is also a photographer we planned this shoot together carefully. Wanting to take advantage of some gorgeous, early morning Bahamian sunshine we all woke up early only to find a windy, rainy day. We were pretty disappointed. After a couple of hours of waiting the wind died down some and the rain stopped... we decided it was our perfect opportunity and I am delighted with the results.
Seriously, photographing two people in love is so easy! This session was pure enjoyment from beginning to end. I love my job!

Nassau, Bahamas Family Photographer - Atlantis Beach, Kids Photos
Paradise Island is home to several miles of beautiful beach. It's no wonder it makes an ideal spot to take family portraits while on vacation.
This family contacted me to do pictures for them while staying at Atlantis. The little girls enjoyed exploring the beach and I loved documenting them enjoying life together. We had a lot of fun with the Santa hats they brought which looked great with the native hibiscus shrubs.
